Re: Fundy Rush U15 Major Hosting Hockey Nova Scotia certified Checking clinic 

Fundy Rush U15 Major Hockey team will be hosting a Hockey Nova Scotia certified Checking Clinic on May 16th, 2026. This checking clinic is open to all 2013 players (1st Year U15) and 2012 players who have not previously attended a Hockey Canada checking Clinic. This checking clinic is for any players attending the Fundy Rush spring ID Camp and any eligible players in our catchment area. Goaltenders are not required to attend a checking clinic. 

The clinic includes 1 hr off ice and 2.5hrs on ice instruction which will provide orientation to players in the skills of body checking using a progressive approach from angling, positioning, and body contact to body Checking. You can register at: https://forms.gle/BVzXDeC7PrPQHr529

8:30am - Sign in 

9-10am  - On ice session 1 

10-10:30  - Snack 

10:30-11:30  - Classroom Session 

12-1:30PM - On ice Session 2 

Hockey Nova Scotia mandates participation in an HNS certified checking clinic by any player who wishes to participate in a body checking environment for the first time next season. (U15 Major, U15AA, U15A).
